Environmental Responsibility & Climate 

Action Jordan Address Travel works to reduce its environmental impact by: 

  • Minimising waste and promoting digital processes whenever possible 
  • Reducing energy and water consumption in office operations 
  • Encouraging environmentally responsible behaviour among staff, partners, and guests
  • Promoting suppliers that demonstrate environmental responsibility 
  • Supporting the protection of natural environments and sensitive areas 
  • Avoiding promotion of activities that harm wildlife or fragile ecosystems

Responsible Visitor Behaviour 

We encourage our guests to travel responsibly by respecting local customs, traditions, laws, and cultural sensitivities. This includes: 

  • Appropriate dress at religious and cultural sites 
  • Responsible use of water and natural resources 
  • Minimising waste  Respecting wildlife and protected areas 

Licensed local guides provide on-site guidance to support responsible behaviour and positive community interaction.

 

 

Protection of Cultural Heritage, Wildlife & Legal Souvenirs 

Jordan Address Travel does not promote or support the purchase or sale of illegal souvenirs, including historic or archaeological artefacts, or products derived from endangered flora or fauna, in accordance with national legislation, CITES, and the IUCN Red List. 

Guests are advised to purchase souvenirs only from legal and reputable sources. We actively discourage unethical or illegal purchases.

Suppliers & Partners 

Jordan Address Travel works primarily with licensed and reputable suppliers. Sustainability considerations are taken into account when selecting and cooperating with guides, transport providers, accommodations, and activity partners. 

We expect our partners to comply with national legislation, fair labour standards, health and safety requirements, and ethical business conduct.

 

 

Health, Safety & Guest Well-Being 

The safety and well-being of our guests and staff are a priority. We ensure this by: 

  • Working with suppliers that follow appropriate safety standards 
  • Providing accurate pre-departure and on-site information regarding activities and potential risks 
  • Offering guidance on health, safety, and responsible conduct

 

 

Customer Feedback & Complaints

Customer feedback is an essential part of our sustainability approach. Guests are encouraged to share comments, suggestions, or concerns through direct communication and online platforms. 

Feedback, including sustainability-related comments, is reviewed by management and used to improve services and operational practices.

 

 

Monitoring, Reporting & Continuous Improvement 

Sustainability is an ongoing process. 

Jordan Address Travel: 

  • Reviews sustainability practices at least once every 12 months 
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement 
  • Provides sustainability awareness to staff 
  • Updates internal procedures where necessary 

Progress related to this Sustainability Policy is reviewed annually and documented internally. Where required, sustainability performance is reported to relevant stakeholders and certification bodies in line with our sustainability reporting commitments.

 

 

Scope & Responsibility 

This Sustainability Policy applies to all employees and representatives of Jordan Address Travel and guides our cooperation with suppliers and partners. 

Company management is responsible for overseeing its implementation, monitoring compliance, and conducting annual reviews.



Animal Welfare & Wildlife Protection

Jordan Address Travel does not promote or offer excursions involving:

  • Captive wildlife
  • Animal performances
  • Wildlife exploitation activities
  • Direct interaction with wild animals in captivity

We avoid promoting activities that harm wildlife or fragile ecosystems.

Where traditional camel riding is included in itineraries in Wadi Rum, it is provided by licensed local Bedouin operators operating under Jordanian national regulations.

We cooperate with accommodation and activity providers in destinations such as Wadi Rum, including:

  • Aicha Camp
  • Mazayen Camp

Tourism activities in these locations are nature-based and conducted in open desert environments in accordance with local laws and environmental regulations.
