Upon arrival, embark on an exhilarating 4x4 jeep tour at sunset (approximately 1 hour), exploring the stunning desert landscape filled with towering sandstone mountains and ancient rock carvings. After breakfast, begin your journey south with several enriching stops. Your first visit will be to Shoubak was first settled by the Edomites who had their capital in Busaira in neighboring Tafilah Governorate, in the second millennium BC. It was then settled by the Nabataeans in the first millennium BC. Then to Madaba, the "City of Mosaics", to see the renowned 6thcentury mosaic map of the Holy Land at St. George’s Church. Next, drive to Mount Nebo, where Moses is believed to have seen the Promised Land. From here, enjoy panoramic views over the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and even Jerusalem on a clear day.
